Privacy Policy – Guide for Batomon Showdown

This policy explains how the mobile app Guide for Batomon Showdown (Android package and iOS bundle ID com.cppublisher.batomonguide), published by CP Publisher ("we", "us"), handles information. The app is an unofficial fan guide. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by berrymint, the developer of Batomon Showdown.

In short: the app has no account, no sign-in and no server of ours. We do not collect, store or sell your personal information. The app shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google may collect device data to serve and measure those ads, as described below.

1. Information we collect

We do not collect personal information. All guide content (Batomon, trainers, items, guides and patch notes) is bundled inside the app, so browsing it sends nothing to us. The app does not ask for your name, email, contacts, location, photos, camera or microphone, and it does not save personal data on your device.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows banner and interstitial ads served by Google AdMob. To deliver, measure, cap the frequency of and, where you consent, personalize ads, and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect:

your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID, or the iOS IDFA only if you allow tracking);
IP address and the coarse location derived from it;
device and app information, such as device model, operating system and app version;
ad interaction and diagnostic data, such as ad views, clicks and performance or crash information.

3. Your consent choices

EEA, UK, Switzerland and other regions where required: before personalized ads are shown, a Google consent message asks for your choice. You can review or change it at any time from About → Privacy options in the app.
iOS: the app asks for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", the IDFA is not accessed and ads are not personalized with it.
Advertising ID: you can reset or delete it on Android (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads) and limit tracking on iOS (Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
Uninstalling the app stops all collection by the app and its ad SDK.

4. Links to other sites

Some screens link to official pages such as Steam announcements. They open in your browser, and the privacy policies of those sites apply there.

5. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will help remove it.

6. Data retention and security

Because we do not collect personal information, we do not retain any. Data collected by Google AdMob is retained and protected under Google's own policies.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, delete or object to the processing of your data, and to withdraw consent. Use the in-app privacy options and the device settings above, or contact us and we will help with your request.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app changes. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
